Who we are
Prove It Pickleball ("Prove It", "we") runs competitive doubles pickleball tournaments on Long Island, New York. This policy explains what information we collect from players and visitors and how we use it.
Information we collect
- ▸ Contact details you submit: name, email address, mobile number, ZIP code and preferred playing location.
- ▸ Player details: DUPR ID and rating, division, and whether you are looking for a partner.
- ▸ Registration details: the events you enter, your team and partner, payment status, waiver status and results.
- ▸ Consent records: which communications you agreed to, the exact wording shown, the date and time, and the form used.
- ▸ Site activity: pages viewed, buttons clicked, referring page and campaign tags, tied to an anonymous session ID.
Anonymous activity
Site activity is stored against a random session ID that is not linked to you. It is connected to your contact record only after you voluntarily submit a form.
How we use information
To run tournaments, confirm registrations, publish results and standings, and — only where you have given separate consent — to send marketing emails or text messages. Transactional messages about your registration are sent regardless of marketing consent.
Payments
We do not collect or store credit card or bank account numbers. Entry fees are handled outside this website; we record only whether a payment is marked paid, partial, waived or refunded.
Who can see your data
Email addresses and phone numbers are never displayed publicly. Public pages show only display names, divisions, teams and results. Full contact records are restricted to authenticated Prove It administrators, enforced by row-level security in our database.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time, or reply STOP to any marketing text. To access, correct or delete your data, email proveitpickleball@gmail.com.
